Reishi

Herb Pharm prepares their Reishi extract from dried whole fruiting body (not mycelium) of Certified Organic Ganoderma lingzhi mushrooms. Their Reishi is grown on wood logs and/or wood chips. It is never grown on grains like rice.

Herb Pharm starts extraction through the traditional Chinese method of making a concentrated water-extraction tea. Then they combine the tea with their Reishi alcohol extract. The combined extract contains both the water-soluble and alcohol-soluble mushroom compounds.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol for potency and to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirms it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. The formula is easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.
